On arrival in Zermatt you will make your way to your hotel and be at leisure until early evening when we will all meet for evening meal and preparing for the week ahead.
Our first day painting on the Sunday will normally start by taking one of the lifts into the mountains followed by a short hike to one of the many mountain lakes, with unsurpassed views of the mountains.
Other days may include short hikes taking us deep into the valleys, there are so many possibilities for painting around Zermatt, timber buildings, alpine fauna, and of course awe-inspiring mountain views, there is something for everybody to enjoy and paint.
It is planed that part of the week will be in the mountain cabins, spending 2 to 3 nights enjoying their hospitality, high mountain views and with the chance of seeing Chamonix, Ibex and Marmot.
Depending on the size of the group and for those that wish a helicopter flight over the summit of the Matterhorn may be possible durring the week.
You may wish to extend your holiday spending longer in Zermatt or traveling to different regions of Switzerland.
